Woman accused of identify theft

NEW CASTLE — A North Hill woman is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly stealing nearly $43,000 from another woman’s bank account.

New Castle police have charged Kiley R. Sforza, 35, of 7 Point Place, in connection with the theft of $42,984 from a bank account through PayPal transactions. Police said 145 transactions were made on the victim’s account between Dec. 24 and Jan. 18.

Police learned that Sforza’s PayPal account was linked to the woman’s checking account.

Sforza faces one count each of access device fraud, identity theft, theft and receiving stolen property.

A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
