Twin sisters charged in robbery

NEW CASTLE — Twin sisters are facing robbery charges after they allegedly assaulted a woman and stole pills from her.

Heather Ryhal, 24, of Altman Road, and Hillary Ryhal, 24, of 1130 Booker Drive, were arrested by New Castle police after they visited a woman on Mahoning Avenue following the death of a friend.

The woman said the Ryhal women went to talk to her about where the friend’s ashes should be spread.

The victim said the two girls mentioned withdrawal from Xanax, a tranquilizer, and that one asked her for a drink of water.

She told police that while she was getting the water, she heard a bottle of pills hit the bedroom floor and she ran down the hallway toward her bedroom when Hillary grabbed her from behind and slammed her against a wall.

She said both girls overpowered her and ran out of the apartment and she found that the cabinet where she kept all of her medication was open and in disarray and her Xanax prescription pills were gone, police said.

The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Police have charged both Ryhal women with robbery, theft, receiving stolen property and simple assault.

They were arraigned by District Judge David B. Rishel and lodged in the Lawrence County jail in lieu of $10,000 bond each.

Members of the Brady Bunch, now all in their 50s, recently reunited in front of screaming fans. Now the Rolling Stones, all in or nearing their 70s, are touring again. How old is too old to entertain?

You’re NEVER too old! Age is just a number — more power to ’em!
Geez! I didn’t realize they were THAT old! That’s, like, my grandpa’s age.
Not sure. But I do enjoy a good “Golden Girls” rerun in syndication. Now THAT’S entertainment!
