NEW CASTLE —
Neshannock police have filed additional charges against a man who has been charged with multiple burglaries countywide.
Brandon Daniel Bailey, 28, of 1121 Edwin St., was charged Friday with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal trespass and criminal mischief for two break-ins in Neshannock Township.
He had been charged last week by state and New Castle police with five other burglaries of homes in the city and surrounding communities. Those incidents occurred between Sept. 16 and Oct. 5.
During the multi-jurisdictional investigation, police said, they learned Bailey allegedly had been selling stolen jewelry from the Neshannock burglaries at pawn shops in Mercer County.
He also had pawned stolen jewelry from other break-ins at stores in New Castle and Youngstown, according to state police.
Bailey already is serving time for previous burglary and theft-related convictions and is in the state correctional institution in Mercer.
