New Castle teen appears on Katie Couric’s talk show

NEW CASTLE — A New Castle teen appeared yesterday on Katie Couric’s talk show.

Natalie Huff, 19, was a guest on an episode titled “Drugs, Dares and Other Dangerous Trends.”

Huff was injured Aug. 3, 2010, after she slid off the hood of a car on which she was riding and run over by the vehicle. The incident took place in the parking lot of Hermitage Hills Plaza of State Street in Hermitage.

Huff was flown to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, where she was admitted in critical condition. She suffered seven broken ribs, a ruptured spleen and a broken pelvis.

No. I think there would be too many questions of liability for the county.
Not sure. The county seems to be doing a good job of running the jail now. Why break it if it’s not broken?
