Snowstorm creates dangerous road conditions

NEW CASTLE — Emergency officials in Lawrence County were issuing warnings to motorists Tuesday evening.

A snowstorm was producing slick roads, and various hills in the county were considered impassible and closed to traffic, until road crews could reopen them.

In some instances, motorists were stranded on hills, unable to move.

Residents were being advised to avoid driving.

Not sure, but I blame Al Gore. He invented the Internet, right? How’s he going to get us out of this mess?
