Midwestern UI-IV director resigns following probe

NEW CASTLE — The executive director of the Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV has resigned following an investigation.

The IU-IV’s board of directors accepted the resignation of Cecelia H. Yauger last night and appointed Angelo Pezzuolo to serve as interim director during the search for a new director.

Yauger had been placed on leave with pay last month and had appointed a Grove City law firm to conduct the investigation.

Details will be provided in Friday’s edition of the New Castle News.
