Kitchen fire displaces woman

NEW CASTLE — The American Red Cross assisted a Wayne Township woman whose mobile home had been damaged by fire.

Five departments responded to a call about 8:30 p.m. Friday at a mobile home on Wendy Drive, located off Panella Way. Firefighters remained for about an hour.

The name of the owner was not released, but the American Red Cross’ Western Pennsylvania Region assisted her to find shelter following the fire.

The fire was confided to the kitchen of the trailer. The owner was displaced because of fire and water damage, but her belongings were saved, according to one of the firefighters.

Participating in battling the blaze were departments from Perry and Wayne townships, Chewton, Ellwood City, and Franklin Township in Beaver County.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama for allegedly overstepping his legal authority with the way he's handled Obamacare. Good call?

Yes. Obama's been overstepping his authority since day one in office. It's time he pay the piper.
No. The allegations are ridiculous and the law suit is a waste of time and tax payer money.
I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but the suit seems a little extreme.
