Woman died in crash on way to work

NEW CASTLE — A West Pittsburg woman on her way to work died Wednesday morning when her car overturned on Route 18.

Heidi Lynn Holland, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene by Rich Johnson, Lawrence County deputy coroner. Death was a result of blunt force trauma to the head, he said, adding no autopsy will be performed.

Pennsylvania state police said Holland apparently lost control of her car, a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu, while traveling on Route 18 near Halltown Road in North Beaver Township about 8:20 a.m.

Police said the car struck a guide rail at a high speed and spun numerous times before coming to rest on the other side of the road on top of the guide rail.

Police did not indicate if ice or other factors contributed to the accident, but said Holland was not wearing a seat belt.

Johnson, who pronounced her dead at the scene at 8:35 a.m., said at the time of the accident, Holland was headed to her place of employment in Cranberry.

Johnson said Holland recently had moved out of her mother’s home to West Pittsburg.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama for allegedly overstepping his legal authority with the way he's handled Obamacare. Good call?

Yes. Obama's been overstepping his authority since day one in office. It's time he pay the piper.
No. The allegations are ridiculous and the law suit is a waste of time and tax payer money.
I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but the suit seems a little extreme.
