Police search for gunman

NEW CASTLE — State police are looking for a man who robbed a Little Beaver Township gas station at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.

According to police, the man entered D&J Gas and Grocery Store, 1389 State Route 551, at 2:50 p.m. and proceeded behind the counter, demanding money from the cash register while pointing money at the two store clerks.

He then fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of money. He was last seen by witnesses running south on Route 551, then west on Pa. 351.

He is described as a while male, about 20 years old, 6-foot-1, between 160 and 180 pounds with light brown or blondish hair. He was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and dark shoes.
