North Beaver bridge work to restrict traffic

NEW CASTLE — Work on a bridge that carries Moravia Road over a stream in North Beaver Township is planned Thursday and Friday.

According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, crews will be taking test borings for a future project.

Single-lane restrictions will occur at the bridge between Petersburg Road and Burkley Road. The restrictions will run from 8 a.m. to 5 both days.

PennDOT advises motorists to use caution, slow down and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area.
