Two charged in break-in

NEW CASTLE — Two people were accused of breaking into an East Washington Street home.

New Castle police charged Danielle Louise Stahley, 20, of 134 Proch Lane, and Brian Adam Kent, 22, of 153 Green Meadows Trailer Court, New Galilee.

Officers said an East Washington Street man had arrived home Sunday to find his back door kicked in and a Mossberg shotgun missing. Neighbors told police they had seen Kent and Stahley in back of the house that day, officers said.

Stahley was charged with burglary and conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking and is in the county jail on $10,000 bond.

Kent was charged with burglary and two counts of theft. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal signed “unprecedented” legislation yesterday to expand gun rights in his state. Good idea?

Yes. Expanding the scope of where people can carry guns can help halt violent crimes and make those places safer.
No. Carrying guns into bars and schools is NEVER a good idea. I think it will lead to more violence.
Not sure, but I don’t plan to visit Georgia any time soon.
