Man wanted in gun incident

NEW CASTLE — A North Hill man is wanted for allegedly pulling a gun on a woman during a dispute at Crestview Gardens.

New Castle police Wednesday charged Antonio Deshawn Gardner, 29, of 1106 Delaware Ave. in connection with the incident that allegedly occurred in the 1100 block of Pin Oak Drive at 1 p.m. Saturday.

He is wanted on a warrant.

A woman told police Gardner had been outside her apartment and threw a glass candle holder through her bedroom window, shattering it. The woman said she and Gardner then argued in front of the apartment building and Gardner pulled a pistol out of his waistband, pulled the slide back, pointed the gun at her and threatened her numerous times.

Gardner is on the trespass list at Crestview Gardens and is not allowed to be there, police said.

He faces one count each of illegal possession of a firearm, carrying a gun without a license, aggravated and simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, harassment, defiant trespass and criminal mischief.

He also is wanted on drug-related charges in connection with a June 27 traffic stop at Highland and Park avenues, where police allegedly found him to be in possession of cocaine and Xanax pills.

Those charges, also filed Wednesday, are possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a license and traffic violations.

Are you concerned enough about the Heartbleed bug on the Internet to change all of your social media and website passwords?

Yes. It’s always a good idea to change passwords regularly anyway. I just have so many, I’m not sure where to start.
No. From what I’ve read, companies are still trying to figure out how to fix the flaw. The bad guys will just have access to my NEW passwords, too.
Not sure, but I blame Al Gore. He invented the Internet, right? How’s he going to get us out of this mess?
