City man charged with selling pills

NEW CASTLE — Kent M. Rhodes Sr., 30, of 709 Countyline St., was arrested in connection with selling counterfeit pills last year.

He is charged in District Justice Melissa Amodie’s court with two counts of possession or manufacture with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility.

He is accused of selling counterfeit Roxicodone tablets to a confidential informant three times in 2013.

Rhodes, who was charged Wednesday, is in jail on $15,000 bond awaiting a preliminary hearing.
