Gabriel seeks school board seat

NEW CASTLE — George Gabriel has announced he will be a candidate for the New Castle Area School Board in the May primary.

Gabriel, 63, retired in January as the district’s superintendent.

He plans to run on both Republican and Democratic ballots.
