Man robs credit union

NEW CASTLE — New Castle police are looking for the man who held up a downtown credit union yesterday.

The robbery occurred at 9:30 a.m. at the GNC Federal Credit Union, 201 S. Jefferson St.

Police said a man entered the credit union and told a teller he had a gun. However, no weapon was seen, according to police.

There were no reports of injury. Police did not say if any money was taken.

Police said no information was available on any vehicle used in the robbery.
