Tree limb causes power outage in Croton area

NEW CASTLE — Nearly 1,300 customers in the Croton Avenue area were without electricity Sunday morning.

Chuck Jackson, Penn Power area manager, said one of the circuits in the Ray Street substation tripped after a tree limb fell on a line near Vine and Countyline streets about 10:30 a.m.

Power was restored to the 1,277 customers at noon, he said.

Have you held or will you hold a garage/yard sale this year?

I have and it was a success! It's a great way to get rid of some junk and make a little extra pocket money.
I have, but it didn't go over so well. Better luck next time?
I haven't yet, but I plan to.
I haven't and I don't plan to. It's not for me.
