Police respond to two-car crash

NEW CASTLE — Two vehicles were involved in a crash Friday afternoon in Shenango Township.

According to police reports, Daniel Jay Kegarise, 60, of 1504 Cameron Ave. was stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of Ellwood and Willowbrook roads when he was hit from behind by a vehicle operated by Nicole Victoria Ambrosini, 20, of 535 Heckathorne Road.

A passenger, in Kegarise’s car, Eleanor Kegarise, 60, was taken to Jameson Hospital by Noga Ambulance to be evaluated for injuries, police said.

Reports stated there was minor damage to both vehicles.
