Man wanted in Lower East Side break-ins

NEW CASTLE —

A Lower East Side man is wanted in the alleged burglaries of several houses in his neighborhood.

New Castle police have charged John Glenn Salomon, 27, of 231 N. Crawford Ave.

He is accused in burglaries and theft of copper pipe and water meters from vacant duplexes on Pine Street and Martin Street and houses on Countyline and Mulberry streets, which reportedly occurred in February and March.

He allegedly admitted to police in interviews in March that he had broken into the houses and stealing copper pipe and water meters.

Following DNA testing and a three-month investigation, police charged him Wednesday with three counts each of burglary, criminal trespass and theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Are you concerned enough about the Heartbleed bug on the Internet to change all of your social media and website passwords?

Yes. It’s always a good idea to change passwords regularly anyway. I just have so many, I’m not sure where to start.
No. From what I’ve read, companies are still trying to figure out how to fix the flaw. The bad guys will just have access to my NEW passwords, too.
Not sure, but I blame Al Gore. He invented the Internet, right? How’s he going to get us out of this mess?
