Gun theft suspect wanted

NEW CASTLE —

New Castle police are looking for a South Side man who allegedly stole a gun from a woman’s home.

Police say the woman reported the gun missing June 4. They have charged Myron Trahern Gardner, 21, whose last known address was 504 Grime St., in connection with the missing weapon.

The woman said that the gun is a 9 mm Masterpiece Arms and that he took the gun while she was not at home.

He is charged with theft and receiving stolen property and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
