NEW CASTLE —
New Castle firefighters cleared smoke from an apartment at 125 N. Mill St. Wednesday night.
Firefighters said an exhaust fan in the bathroom shorted out, causing smoke to fill the room around 6:50 p.m. No damage was reported.
