Couple accused in identity theft

NEW CASTLE — A New Castle couple are facing multiple charges for allegedly opening and using credit card accounts in someone else’s name.

Arrest warrants were issued Thursday for Donald M. Bulisco, 48, and Michele E. Bulisco, 36, of 417 Bartram Ave.

Shenango Township police received a complaint Aug. 26 from a woman who alleged that the Buliscos had opened multiple credit card accounts in her name without her knowledge or approval. They allegedly used three credit cards for 52 transactions, including veterinary bills for their pit bull.

Shenango police have charged both Buliscos with two counts each of forgery, identity theft and conspiracy to commit forgery and identity theft; and three counts each of use of counterfeit access device, conspiracy to commit use of counterfeit access device, possessing access device knowing it was counterfeit or altered and conspiracy to possess access device knowing it was counterfeit or altered.
