East Side men injured in crash

NEW CASTLE — Names of two men injured in an accident on Locust Street have been released.

William J. Kroll, 33, of 1116 Cunningham Ave., was flown to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown after the Wednesday afternoon crash. The hospital had no record of him Thursday.

His passenger, Sean Thompson, 45, of 106 Pine St., was treated at Jameson Hospital and released.

According to New Castle police, Kroll was driving south on Locust when he lost control, went off the left side of the road and landed in the shallow creek bed. Road conditions were not a factor, police said, and both men were wearing seat belts.

Police are continuing to investigate the accident.

It’s been a unique week on the marriage front. Actress Jodie Foster married her longtime girlfriend, while a lesbian trio that wed last year, who bill themselves as a “throuple,” have announced they are expecting. What’s your take on alternative unions?

I’m against it. I believe in one man, one woman.
I’m OK with it. As long as they’re adults, they can marry whoever they want.
A lesbian “throuple?” Really? SMH.
