Police: Woman dumped baby’s juice on driver

NEW CASTLE — A New Castle Area Transit Authority driver told police an angry passenger had dumped her baby’s juice on him.

The bus driver reported the incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. July 2 at a bus stop near the intersection of Liberty Street and Madison Avenue in Mahoningtown.

The driver said a woman was on his bus and her baby’s stroller was blocking the aisle.

He told police he had asked the woman numerous times to move the stroller and clear the aisle for other passengers to get through, but she became agitated and screamed and swore at him.

The driver said he then asked her to get off the bus, and as she was leaving, she opened a baby bottle and dumped the juice on him.

Police said they are trying to determine the identity of the woman involved in the alleged assault.
