NEW CASTLE —
A New Beaver borough man escaped injury when he was hit by a vehicle.
According to state police, the driver had been trying to break into the victim’s shed, when he sped off, striking the man.
Police said the incident occurred Nov. 8 in the Frederick Mobile Home Park, but details weren’t released until Saturday.
Officers said the victim confronted someone breaking into his shed and the person got into a silver vehicle and took off. That’s when the victim was hit. However, he was not hurt, police said.
Anyone with information about the incident has been asked to contact state police at (724) 598-2211.
