Thieves target man's vodka, beer

NEW CASTLE — New Castle police are investigating a report of two men robbing a third man of alcohol downtown.

A man told police he had been carrying two six-packs of beer and a half-gallon of vodka on East Washington Street near the Riverplex around 11:25 a.m. Tuesday. He said he had just bought them from the state liquor store, according to police.

The man said two men pushed him down on the ground, told him they would kill him, then took his alcohol but nothing else.

He told police he had chased the men on foot but lost them under a bridge as they ran toward Neshannock Village.

Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 fell from the sky in Donetsk, Ukraine, on Thursday, killing all 298 people aboard. Many are speculating that Russian rebels (supported by Vladimir Putin) are responsible for downing the aircraft. What do you think?

No. Everyone is so quick to point fingers, but there's not enough evidence to support claims of Russian guilt.
I'm not sure. I'll just wait until the investigation is over to make up my mind.
What is up with these Malaysian Airlines planes? I know one airline I won't be flying any time soon...
