Woman charged in accident

NEW CASTLE — A woman whose car struck rocks at Riverwalk Park downtown in November is facing charges.

New Castle police say the accident occurred the night of Nov. 22, when a blue sedan driven by Tracy Braho, 44, of 1120 Grigsby St., crashed into a rock display. Braho told police that she was trying to pull into a nearby bank lot across from the park.

A witness told police she saw Braho’s car hit a pole before hitting the rocks.

Police said Braho’ coat pocket had a coin purse in it that contained two plastic bags containing a total of 4.81 grams of marijuana and a pill bottle with a marijuana cigarette inside.

She is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was sent a summons to court.
