House fire reported in Neshannock Township

NEW CASTLE — A fully engulfed blazed summoned firefighters to a Neshannock Township home late Friday afternoon.

According to scanner reports, the fire was at a home located at 2829 Old Mercer Road. That is on Coaltown Hill.

Traffic was being blocked and diverted in the area. Along with the fire, wires were reported down across Old Mercer Road.

The fire broke out at approximately 4:45 p.m.

All residents of the home were reportedly out of the structure when firefighters first arrived.
