NEW CASTLE — A Wampum man is free on $10,000 bond after being charged with sexual contact with a minor.

Walter Everett McClintick, 71, Apt. 3, 117 Applewood Lane, was charged by state police Monday with three counts of indecent assault and two counts each of unlawful contact with a minor, indecent exposure and corruption of minors.

The charges were the result of repeated incidents involving a girl under 13.

According to the complaint, McClintick is accused of touching and rubbing the girl, forcing her to touch his genitals, exposing himself, showing her pornography and making explicit comments to her.

He is awaiting a preliminary hearing before District Justice Jerry Cartwright.
