Undercover state police trooper poses as prostitute, arrests made in city

NEW CASTLE — Five men were arrested on prostitution and related charges in a sting conducted by state police and New Castle police.

State police say they established a prostitution detail on New Castle's South Side, with a female state police trooper posing as a prostitute.

The effort netted the arrests of five men on charges of patronizing prostitutes. A woman also was charged with prostitution as a result of the sting.
