Woman facing prostitution, drug charges

NEW CASTLE — A woman allegedly caught prostituting on the city’s South Side last summer is now facing charges.

New Castle police said the charges, filed Monday against Nicole Elaine Holmes, 43, of 616 Taylor St., had been pending laboratory testing of a suspected crack pipe with cocaine residue she had hidden in her clothing.

An undercover officer working as a member of the police street crimes unit alleges Holmes solicited him on South Mill Street June 15.

She is charged with prostitution, possession of a controlled substance and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Holmes was sent a summons to appear in court.

Yes, but I’m basically just thinking out loud.
No, that would be weird.
I don’t know. Next time I’m alone, I’ll ask.
