Brothers charged with harassment, intimidation

NEW CASTLE — Two brothers have been charged with harassing and intimidating the same woman.

New Castle police charged David Thomas Kordish, 22, of 502 Lyndal St., with stalking and harassing a former girlfriend.

Two charges of intimidation of witnesses or victims and obstructing administration of law were filed against his brother, Michael J. Kordish, 20, also of 502 Lyndal St.

The woman, who met with officers about 1:45 p.m. Sunday, told police she had received numerous texts and phone messages from David Kordish between Saturday and Sunday. The officer said he viewed 15 text messages, 26 missed calls and four voicemails on the woman’s phone. The woman told police this is unwanted communication.

At 9 p.m. Sunday, police said, the victim contacted them to say Michael J. Kordish, 20, also of 502 Lyndal St., had texted her telling her not to press charges against his brother, David Kordish.

The officer said that warning text had arrived less than five minutes after he had spoken to David Kordish from the police station, informing him of pending charges and telling him he was not to contact the victim or to have anyone else contact her on his behalf.

The officer said he contacted Michael Kordish, telling him not to contact the victim, and was made aware that Michael Kordish had sent an additional text message to the victim after that call.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama for allegedly overstepping his legal authority with the way he's handled Obamacare. Good call?

Yes. Obama's been overstepping his authority since day one in office. It's time he pay the piper.
No. The allegations are ridiculous and the law suit is a waste of time and tax payer money.
I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but the suit seems a little extreme.
