NEW CASTLE — A North Hill man arrested last month on burglary charges is accused of stealing debit bank cards.

New Castle police allege Richard R. Cotelesse Jr., 30, stole cards from a 73-year-old couple.

Police have charged Cotelesse, of 242 E. Moody Ave. and 218 E. Leasure Ave., in connection with using the cards at seven local businesses and two downtown banks.

Police said that on Oct. 26, they reviewed surveillance videos that showed Cotelesse using the couple’s bank card.

Cotelesse is charged with access device fraud, theft by deception, receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking.

He was arraigned by District Judge Melissa A. Amodie, who set his bond at $5,000 in addition to the bonds for previous charges.
