NEW CASTLE —
Shenango Township police responded to a report of a person being dragged by a car over the weekend.
But they ended up arresting the pedestrian, not the driver.
Officers were called about 3:45 p.m. Sunday to a business on Ellwood Road to respond to the dragging report. A female motorist told them she had been having a verbal altercation with Zacharay Alan Glaude, 19, of 699 Arlington Ave.
When she attempted to drive away from him, she said, Glaude grabbed onto her vehicle and eventually fell off.
Glaude suffered minor injuries, police said, and was treated at Jameson Hospital. However, he was arrested when officers discovered he had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation. He was taken to the Lawrence County jail.
