NEW CASTLE —
A Lower East Side woman is facing drug charges after she allegedly was caught with pills.
New Castle police have charged Donna Rose Salomon, 25, of 231 N. Crawford Ave. with possession.
Officers were patrolling the area of Walnut Street for a missing juvenile around 9:30 p.m. Monday when they saw Salomon and another man in a sport utility vehicle. Police talked to Salomon and said she appeared to be under the influence.
She allegedly was caught with a package containing two Xanax pills and eight Klonopin pills, both of which are controlled narcotics.
She was sent a summons to appear for a preliminary hearing.
