Veterans official to conduct local seminar

NEW CASTLE — The first veterans benefit seminar of 2014 will be Friday afternoon.

The session will run from 2 to 4 p.m. in the commissioners meeting room at the Lawrence County Courthouse.

The speaker will be Thomas Parsons, program manager of physical medicine and rehabilitation services at VA Butler Healthcare.

The topics to be discussed are inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, prosthetics program, adapted vehicle program and HISA grant.
