NEW CASTLE —
Local evangelist Randy Crum is bringing his series of local crusades to New Castle High School.
Crum, pastor of Wayside Emmanuel Church and founder of Vision Ministries, launched the events in October, complementing his messages with the gifts and testimonies of local residents. He kicked off the quarterly crusades in October at his home church, before going to Mohawk High in February.
Now, he and his Vision Ministries team will head to New Castle High for a 6:30 p.m. April 20 event. The program includes individuals and leaders from churches in our community that will present a powerful message of the word of God.
In addition to a challenging message from Crum, the evening will include inspirational musice from the Vision Ministries praise team; solos from New Castle High students Allison Schaubroeck and Sierra Ellis; the Faithful Creators for Christ drama team; and a praise choir including members from several local churches.
There is no admission charge, but those who attend are asked to take a nonperishable food item to be donated to the Neighborhood Pantry and the City Rescue Mission.
A freewill offering will be received, and a portion of it will benefit Lawrence County Youth Ministries.
Vision Ministries also has a summer crusade planned. It will take place Aug. 16 during the Lawrence County Fair in the grandstand. There are opportunities for believers to participate in the adult and children’s choir. Counselors and pastors are encouraged to participate and be on hand to help during the nondemoninatonal event.
