NEW CASTLE — “If you want things to be different, perhaps the answer is to become different yourself.” — Norman Vincent Peale
You can be comfortable.
Or you can be outstanding.
But you can’t be both.
It’s time to get moving, people. Get off the couch. Get off your pedestal. Get into the game and start gettin’ your hands dirty.
In other words, get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
What is YOUR next level? How can you help your team, your business or your family become stronger today? What’s been gnawing at you to try?
Sometimes, what we fear the most is what we are gifted to do. Someone is afraid of what you can become and whispers in your ear to give it up.
God didn't create any of us to be average. He didn't make us to barely get by. We’re here to excel.
Enough already. Your days of settling are over.
Go left, if you’re always going right.
First step too slow? Make it faster.
Drink more water.
Eat less junk.
Buy the running shoes.
Sit up front if you’re always hiding in the back.
Take good notes.
Say hello first.
Enroll for that class you’ve been wanting to take.
Read the book.
Send the e-mail.
Make the call.
Become part of a small group.
Coach that team.
Get unstuck already!
Stop cheating us of your gifts. We need you.
Boy, do we need you.
So put down the remote. Stop wasting your time watching others achieve their dreams while you devour chips and salsa.
Get into the habit of seeking new and meaningful challenges.
You won’t be comfortable.
But I’m willing to bet you’ll be outstanding.
