NEW CASTLE —
Some of the films I am going to mention in this post may not be anticipated by anyone other than me.
I'm just letting you know that now.
Let's start with "A Good Day to Die Hard." Bruce Willis is back yet again as John McClane. This time he is heading to Moscow to help out his son, a CIA operative working to stop a nuclear weapons heist. The twist? McClane doesn't know his son is a CIA operative working to stop a nuclear weapons heist.
On a sidenote, Bruce Willis is 57? He has aged well.
Also in February, "Top Gun" is back. The film will be making its 3-D debut in IMAX theaters and on Blu-ray.
If you're a fan of Nicholas Sparks, be sure to head to the theater on Valentine's Day to catch "Safe Haven." The romantic thriller is based on Sparks' novel of the same name. The film stars Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough.
My personal picks in February? I'm glad you asked.
"Warm Bodies" is not your same old zombie movie. Normally, the humans are turning into zombies, but this time with some help from an unusual couple, the zombies are turning back into humans.
Who wouldn't love a teenage boy zombie meets pretty human girl romantic comedy?
And lastly, I'm sure you have started seeing the previews for "Identity Thief." Melissa McCarthy of "Bridesmaids" fame steals the identity of Jason Bateman's character, Sandy, and spends her time living the good life in Miami. Bateman heads halfway across the country to apprehend McCarthy, but of course, hits a few bumps in the road.
What are you looking forward to seeing in February?
