Operation Christmas Child New Castle News The New Castle News will accept Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes from Nov. 12-18. Boxes should be taken to the rear of the News building, There will be signs posted directly the way. Times for drop-offs are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 12; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 13-16; and 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 17 and 18. Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God’s love.
