NEW CASTLE — I have some pretty great news to bring to my weekly blog — my husband and I are expecting a baby!

We're due in February and very excited to experience parenthood for the first time. Now that I'm (finally) beginning to feel better, I've been taking a look at the maternity fashion out there. I've heard many times that in the past there weren’t many great options for moms-to-be — lots of clothing that just hid the baby bump, rather than celebrating it.

I'm glad to know times have definitely changed. I've done plenty of research in the past for both this blog and pregnant friends to find clothing stores that offer trendy (and inexpensive) maternity options, so I feel pretty prepared for this next step.

But one of the first things I did when I found out I was pregnant was look to celebrity maternity style. Because there is always such an interest in celebrity pregnancy, there is definitely no shortage of inspiration out there.

If you look to the right, I've gathered some of my favorite casual celebrity bump styles. I like the idea of keeping my same sense of style, but just accommodating this new little human growing in my belly. Comfort will be key, of course, but I don't see any reason to completely opt out of the style department.

Most of the styles I've gathered are things I'd wear, pregnant or not: tunics and leggings, oversized comfortable sweaters, skinny jeans and flowing dresses. All easy, all cute.

And if any of you are in this same pregnancy boat as me, might I recommend a few great stores to check out for trendy but comfortable clothing? Asos, Gap, Old Navy, Topshop, and H&M. These stores all offer maternity lines at inexpensive price points. They're the stores I'll be getting the majority of my maternity clothing from.

And if you'd like to follow my pregnancy journey and see my own personal style, be sure to check out my personal blog: www.comingunstitched.com.

Are any of you out there pregnant as well? I'd love to know if you have any recommendations for great maternity lines and hear where you've shopped while pregnant.
