The Neshannock High girls soccer team is headed to the playoffs.
The Lady Lancers earned their postseason bid with a 4-0 victory over visiting Mohawk yesterday in Section 1-A action.
Rachel Iorio scored off a corner kick to hand Neshannock (9-2-2 section, 10-2-3 overall) a 1-0 lead 10 minutes into the game before Annie Litrenta netted three goals in the second half to seal the win.
Sydne Slingluff was credited three assists and Chandler Moorhouse helped out on the final goal.
Madison McHale stopped seven shots for the Lady Lancers, who have eight shutouts on the season.
Anna Hartwell recorded a hat trick and added an assist as the Lady Greyhounds rolled to a 9-2 win over host Sharpsville in District 10, Region 1-A action.
Kyler Lum chipped in three tallies and three assists, while Leann Wynder, Mackenzie Smith and Linger Williams each contributed a goal for Wilmington (7-1, 8-5-1).
Alison Mayes had two assists, while Wynder, Smith and Allyson Krupa also finished with an assist.
Ally Hahn turned away four shots in goal for the Lady Greyhounds.
Lady Wildcats victorious
Katie Lacey slammed home eight kills to lead Shenango to a 25-17, 25-18, 25-7 victory over visiting Union in Section 3-A action.
Christina Rapone handed out 18 assists and Jade Esposito had 13 digs to lead the Lady Wildcats (11-0, 12-1). Irene Koury posted five aces and Taylor Wakeling contributed three blocks.
