The Steelers have named Todd Haley their new offensive coordinator. Haley, 45, will replace Bruce Arians, now with the Indianapolis Colts, and will inherit an offense that scored 325 points last season en route to finishing 12-4.

NHL Hockey: Plekanec gives Canadiens 3-2 win over Pens in shootout
Even though it took a while, Carey Price and the Montreal Canadiens finally got a shootout to go their way. Tomas Plekanec scored on Montreal's eighth shootout attempt and Price stopped six of eight in the tiebreaker to lead the Canadiens to a 3-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night.

High School Football: Four more locals sign with colleges
Four more Lawrence County football stars have signed to take their talents to the next level. All four will compete at the NCAA Division II level — New Castle’s Justin Fleo and Chris Avery (Gannon) and teammate Johnny Matarazzo (Mercyhurst), along with Laurel’s Kaleb Kingston (Slippery Rock).

Report: Haley is Steelers’ next offensive coordinator
The Steelers will hire former Kansas City Chiefs coach Todd Haley to be their offensive coordinator, according to an ESPN report. The move, first reported by 610 AM in Kansas City, has not yet been announced.
