Glow–in-the-Dark golf scramble planned

NEW CASTLE — The Pulaski Township Police Association wants to make golfing even more fun than it already is.

The organization is sponsoring a Glow-in-the-Dark Golf Scramble July 20 at Tanglewood Golf Course on Route 208 in Pulaski Township.

The event will begin with registration at 7:30 p.m.

Tee-off will begin at 9 p.m. and will feature colored light-up golf balls, and each team member will be given a different colored ball.

Proceeds will benefit the Pulaski Township Police Association.

A cost of $60 per golfer will include greens fees for nine holes, carts, glow-in-the-dark golf accessories, a barbecue chicken and ribs dinner, beverages, prizes, contests, an after-party bonfire and award money for first, second and third places.

Limited spots are available and will be secured at time of payment.

Any golfers who want to participate but who do not have teams will be paired up.

The deadline for entries and fee payments is July 6, provided spots remain available.

Non-golfers wanting to attend may pay $25, which will include dinner, cold beverages and participation in drawings.

All attendees are encouraged to take flashlights and lawn chairs for the after-party bonfire.
