Colao, a junior guard from Ellwood City Lincoln, is averaging 6.5 points a game with 1.8 rebounds a tilt as well. Colao has also handed out nine assists.
He’s a transfer from Community College of Beaver County.
California is 5-1.
CARR SHOW
Grove City’s Shawn Carr registered 16 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 97-93 double-overtime loss to Hiram (Ohio) College on Wednesday.
Carr was 4 of 11 from the field.
Carr, a junior guard from Mohawk, is averaging 8.4 points and 5.6 rebounds a contest. He has also dished out 18 assists.
Bobby Turner, a junior from Laurel, is also seeing limited action for the Wolverines. He has played in three games, averaging 1.3 points and 1.7 rebounds a contest.
Grove City is 3-5.
PLAYING TIME
Geneva’s Richard Colick scored six points in an 84-70 loss to Malone (Ohio) College last Saturday.
Colick, a freshman guard/forward from Mohawk, is averaging 2.5 points and 2.5 rebounds a tilt.
The Golden Tornadoes are 6-5.
