NEW CASTLE —
The Shenango Area School District conducted its annual Pie Festival on Thursday at Glenn “Pop” Johnston Stadium.
Hundreds turned out to watch performances by the marching band, danceline, flagline and cheerleaders. In addition, members of the district’s athletic teams were introduced to the crowd.
Spectators enjoyed pie and ice cream in the cafeteria before heading over to the football field.
