NEW CASTLE —
The Shenango Area School Board has granted family medical leaves to two employees.
Granted leaves were Valerie Mitcheltree, a teacher’s aide, and Suzanne Montgomery, an elementary teacher.
Mitcheltree will be off from Aug. 22 through Sept. 28, and Montgomery’s leave will be Oct. 22 through Jan. 18.
Also at Monday’s meeting, the board approved the purchase of a van from Phil Fitts Ford for $21,305.
