At its meeting Feb. 8, the Shenango school board:
•Named Rob Heath as district newsletter coordinator at $800 for this school year.
•Established the district’s rate of mileage reimbursement at 50 cents per mile.
•Added teachers Meghan Miller, Monica Wright and Karly Busby and custodian Charles Fontana Sr. to the substitute list.
•Accepted the resignation of Lorie Pezzano as musical choreographer.
•Accepted the resignation of Denise Galmarini as high school activities secretary, effective Feb. 19.
•Adopted a policy requiring pre-employment drug testing.
•Established a temporary committee to advance the district’s technology by exploring and recommending proven solutions including classroom, parent communication and information technology.
