At its meeting Nov. 9, the Mohawk Area School Board:
•Accepted the resignation of Michele Peterson, ninth-grade spring cheerleading adviser.
•Accepted the resignation of Mary Gillespie as elementary cafeteria worker.
•Granted the North Beaver Civic Club permission to use the elementary school cafeteria on Dec. 5 for its Breakfast With Santa.
•Gave approval for the Pennsylvania Motorcycle Safety Program to use a classroom and parking lot for its 2010 classes.
•Granted permission for the Lawrence County Department of Public Safety to use the elementary school as an H1N1 vaccine distribution site.
•Gave approval for Donna Carr, an elementary school paraprofessional, to take an extended leave.
