NEW CASTLE —
U.S. Rep. Keith Rothfus is inviting students from the 12th District to apply for internships in his offices.
The internships are available to college undergraduates or graduates and offered in Rothfus’ western Pennsylvania and Washington offices during the spring, summer and fall semesters. District offices are in Beaver, Ross Township and Johnstown.
Internships are offered in Rothfus’ western Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., offices during the spring, summer and fall semesters. Internships are unpaid but credits may be available, depending on the student’s academic institution.
Hours can be flexible to accommodate student course schedules, but generally run from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Students need to submit an application, resume, cover letter and writing sample that is no longer than five pages to the office where they would like to intern. Students also may email completed applications to: email@example.com. The internship application form is available online at https://Rothfus.house.gov.
The deadline for a spring internship in the Washington office is Oct. 28. Applications for internships in the district offices will be accepted and considered on a rolling basis.
