Alan Carlson was nominated and approved for chairman. William Taylor was appointed vice Vo-Tech Boardelects chairmen New Castle News Positions of chairman and vice-chairman were filled during last month's Lawrence County Area Vocational Technical School Board meeting.
Alan Carlson was nominated and approved for chairman. William Taylor was appointed vice-chairman. Both men were the only nominees for the positions and were approved by 6-0 votes. Carlson has previously served as chairman and vice-chairman for the board. In other board business: *Meeting dates were approved for 2006, on the third Thursday of each month with a work session at 7 p.m. followed by the regular meeting at 7:30.
